Hello Everyone, I am Advik, I am from India, I want to share my hostel experience and I bet you have never heard of hostel like this.
When I was 4 or 5 year old I was sent to hostel. There my experience was very horrible. In one room there were 4 - 5 boys. And even for talking we were beaten, even we could not complain due to fear of being beaten again. There was a very bad system in our hostel that ,you have to tell no. Of breads you have to eat during dinner in afternoon only, and total breads were counted thereafter dinner was cooked. Now in case we have major issues than we used to organise strike. The strike was done in a way that our voice reaches to higher authority of the hostel. When we were asked for how many breads you will eat , we told 1. Each on of us will say 1. And the next day when we were again asked, we would tell 8. We would do this until we successfully grab’s authority attention. In short I can tell you that even jail was better than that hostel.
Later on when I had shifted to other place after a decade of studying in that hostel, I was literally surprised to see outer world. How much freedom is there. I can shout, I can talk, I can walk according to my will. My childhood has many dark experience this is not even 1% of it
