In fact, his Payphone Hits – assassination contracts provided to the player through the payphones found throughout the map – are one of the most lucrative options in the game.
Each hit yields a reward of $15,000, but if the player follows through with the bonus criteria provided by Franklin, they receive an extra $70,000. Players only require a 20-minute cooldown between hits, making this a viable option for rapidly stacking cash.
7/10 The Double-Action Revolver Reward Is A Nice One-Time Reward
Most missions in GTA Online are repeatable, but in a few special cases, there are one-time-only achievements that can net massive player rewards. One such case is the payout – exactly $250,000 – for getting 50 headshots with the Double-Action Revolver in online play.
Getting the Double-Action Revolver can be a bit of a hassle, as the player will have to perform a scavenger hunt to find its whereabouts. However, since NPCs count towards player milestones, performing the requisite number of headshots with the weapon is more than easy enough to justify the effort.

Selling these vehicles will net players between $30,000 and $100,000 each, which will undoubtedly justify the high cost of acquiring a Vehicle Warehouse. Were it not for the interference of other online players, Vehicle Cargo missions would be among the easiest ways to generate money in the entire game.

Not every way of making money in GTA Online is as glamorous as the high-dollar heists it features. In the right situation, tried-and-true methods like stealing and selling NPC vehicles can still be of use, even if they don’t earn players as much as others.
For the most part, selling stolen cars to Los Santos Customs and Simon isn’t going to make many players rich. However, should anyone ever need to cash in for a few thousand dollars in a short amount of time, hijacking a nearby NPC isn’t too bad of an option.
4/10 Special Cargo Missions Generate Millions At Max Capacity
Similar to the Vehicle Cargo system, Special Cargo missions allow players to steal and sell cargo out of a pre-purchased warehouse of their choosing. Unlike some other tasks, Special Cargo missions require money to initiate; however, they quickly prove worth their price tag.
A large warehouse contains 111 spaces for Special Cargo, which would sell for $2,200,000 if at full capacity. In addition, the player can sell their inventory at any point in the process, making it a solid choice for almost any player.
3/10 VIP Contracts Make The Most Out Of Dr. Dre’s Appearance
The GTA franchise is no stranger to celebrity crossovers, but even by their games’ standards, GTA Online‘s collaboration with Dr. Dre is a monumental achievement. During the VIP Contract missions, the player teams up with Franklin Clinton to find Dr. Dre’s stolen phone and take out his unknown assailant.
Despite the relatively small amount of work these missions entail, they reward the player with a tremendous amount of cash. Completing the contract earns the player over $1,000,000, further solidifying Dr. Dre’s spot in the annals of GTA history.
2/10 Auto Shop Robberies Are Clearly The Requisite Investments
GTA Online offers players numerous ways to build their criminal syndicate, and although some entail significant startup costs, almost all of them are worth it. The game’s Auto Shop Robbery missions, which require an Auto Shop to participate, are a fantastic example of this trend.
While Auto Shops cost well over $1,000,000 to acquire, they’re capable of generating hundreds of thousands of dollars per hour through various Robbery missions. Each requires a brief series of setup jobs, but their massive payouts quickly make this effort feel like a non-factor.
