PLANS to build a house in Sedgley High Street have been submitted to planners.
The application to build a detached house in the garden of 150, High Street, has gone in to Dudley Council.
The application states that a previous bid for two homes at the rear of the plot was withdrawn as the council said it was “garden grabbing.”
A design and access statement states: “Previously a scheme had been prepared and submitted to Dudley MBC for the erection of two single storey dwellings towards the rear of the plot, however as Dudley MBC were unable to support the application (it was considered as Garden Grabbing) therefore the application was withdrawn and this current application prepared.”
Design by Central Design Consultants Ltd
Plans show a bathroom, two bedrooms, one with an en-suite and a study on the first floor and a master bedroom in the loft with an en-suite.
Notes to planners state: “The site lies within a historic residential area with the application site comprising a parcel of land to the side of properties that front onto High Street, which originally formed extended yard before becoming garden space to 150 High Street.”
