Scottish heritage is at the heart as we exclusively reveal the new Scotland home and away kits.
The home strip boasts a traditional navy base which is complimented by tartan detail and a thistle sign-off on the back of the neck, owing to our national flower. A vibrant, purple colour also makes an appearance in adidas’ iconic three stripes, while white shorts and navy socks complete the strip.
Created for both the men’s and women’s sides, the home kit will be worn for the first time by Pedro Martinez Losa’s Scotland Women’s National Team as they take on the Netherlands on Friday, 2 September.
Steve Clarke’s side will have their chance to wear the fresh colours on Wednesday, 21 September as their UEFA Nations League campaign continues with a home match against Ukraine.
The away strip, meanwhile, is elegant and eye-catching, with tartan woven into the white jersey in a nod to the nation’s heritage. The shorts also encompass iconic Scottish elements; however, the tartan has been re-imagined through the lens of speed, giving a modern take on a Scottish tradition.
