In the book You Were Born Rich Sandy Gallagher tells us that in 2006, she entered a seminar in Vancouver and,
in the previous twenty years, she had operated on a
successful legal practice. She barely noticed that the
information she was receiving at that seminar would cause
the closing of her office, that she would stop working for the law and
she would start a whole new career.

Bob Proctor was conducting the seminar she
had attended and from the front of the room he was shooting

that she, Sandy, had followed her whole life.

her professional career she was on an orthodox path that

class, enjoying what most people consider a real success. However, as she followed Proctor on his trail of ideas, she began to feel as if she had been living, all the time before that moment, in a prison.
“You Were Born Rich” explained her whole life and she was finally starting to experience freedom.
Bob said, “Most people
are extras in their own movie.” And Sandy realized she wasn’t the star of her movie. She was really an extra.
Someone was always the star, and she was always a spectator
trying to please them, trying to gauge what she thought was her pattern, never acting on a level
that she believed they found acceptable.
She was 43 years old and doing what other people thought she should do
with life itself. As she sat in that seminar, she took many of these ideas and allowed them to spark her imagination. She started to dream about
what would her life be like if she just got on with life
her way, doing what she wanted and with the best
skills every day.
She was getting emotional.
In this seminar she learned that all of us
“We were born rich”. You are, I am and so is everyone else. However, following someone else’s path, we
we squandered these riches. We never truly developed and did not become the person God intended us to become.
But if we choose to go our own way, yes, the rewards are huge and available to everyone. Make a decision now to go your way
