Jack Savoretti is sitting pretty. The husky-voiced pop singer, a Radio 2 staple, enjoyed his second No 1 album in a row with 2021’s Europiana. It was written in the living room of his Cotswolds home, near Little Tew, Oxfordshire, where the 38-year-old pop star lives with his wife, the actress and painter Jemma Powell, and their three children, Connie, 11, Winter, 7, and Celeste, 1. Purchased in 2016 — they relocated from Kensal Rise, northwest London — it’s idyllic: a four-bedroom, 19th-century cottage in honey-coloured Cotswold stone, with roses round an archway, wisteria climbing the walls and views of cornfields.
