Heartbreak for Block stars Kirsty and Jesse as they admit they may have to sell their own ‘dream home’ if they’re not successful on auction day
They are renovating the biggest house on The Block this year.
But Kirsty Lee Akers and Jesse Anderson could be set for heartbreak amid fears they may have to sell their own ‘dream home’ if they’re not successful on auction day.
‘If we walk away with nothing it will be devastating and yes, we will probably have to sell our home,’ Kirsty told Woman’s Day.

Deciding moment: The Block stars Kirsty Lee Akers (left) and Jesse Anderson (right) have admitted they may have to sell their own ‘dream home’ if they’re not successful on auction day
‘You go into it hoping you’re going to win a life-changing opportunity, but there are no guarantees and there have been contestants in the past who have walked away with virtually nothing,’ she added.
‘If that happens I don’t know what we will do.’
It comes after Kirsty and Jesse scored a perfect ten during Hell Week, with the judges saying they’d made it into ‘heaven week’.

Devastating: ‘If we walk away with nothing it will be devastating and yes, we will probably have to sell our home,’ Kirsty told Woman’s Day
Last week, the pair renovated a bathroom, hallway and laundry despite leaving for 24 hours after the death of Kirsty’s grandmother.
The judges said there was ‘no sense of panic’ in the serene, renovated spaces, which didn’t look rushed even though the couple had less time.
They were thrilled to have even beaten the returning Faves with their perfect score.
