“A creative life is an amplified life. It’s a bigger life, a happier life, an expanded life, and a hell of a lot more interesting life” — -Elizabeth Gilbert –

“You can’t use up creativity, the more you use, the more you have.” -Maya Angelou-
Creativity is limitless, there’s no such thing as “I’ve run out of ideas.” It’s the biggest myth, don’t fall into that trap.
You have an endless pool of creative ideas to pull from. Find them.
I have several methods to help me when I start falling into the creative rut trap.
One thing I like to do is step outside my comfort zone and consume content that’s completely different to the type of content that I usually consume.
For example, I like to read personal development articles and content about making money online or blogging. When I’m feeling rusty, I clear my schedule for the day and make a list of interesting websites and documentaries.
I might read a website about sustainability, I’m interested in sustainability but I don’t write about it often. I often find quotes or interesting articles that shake my brain and push me to find new angles for creating content.
I love to watch documentaries on YouTube and Netflix too but when I’m feeling a little stuck, I steer away from my usual type of content and focus on content about wildlife, travel, relationships, machine learning, science and other topics.
