Certainly for the younger generations, Jamie Oliver feels like he’s been omnipresent on our TV as a champion of healthy eating and quick easy food for years now.
His career as a TV chef has now spanned over 20 years and he’s amassed quite the empire in that time, now living in a stunning country home with his big family.
But what might surprise you is that 21 years on from his very first TV appearance, he still doesn’t look that different from the fresh faced young upstart that hit our screens in 2000.
Jamie, 46, married his childhood sweetheart Juliette ‘Jools’ Norton in 2000.
Together the pair now have a family of seven with five children, Poppy Honey Rosie, 19, Daisy Boo Pamela, 18, Petal Blossom Rainbow, 12, Buddy Bear Maurice, 11, and River Rocket Blue Dallas, 5.

For a family that size you need a fairly big house. Jamie certainly has that with the family owning a £6m country house estate in Essex.
The mansion is called Spains Hall and sits on a 70 acre estate in the village of Finchingfield, often named as one of the prettiest in the country.
The family moved in in the summer of 2019 just a few years after River Rocket was born.

As well as the 16th century mansion house, the estate also features a 10 bed farmhouse, three bed lodge, swimming pool, tennis court, and converted stables.
It’s clear over the years that Jamie has accumulated plenty of money for his family to live comfortably, but one thing he hasn’t accumulated seems to be age.

Looking back at some of his first ever TV appearances on The Naked Chef for BBC Two in 2000, it seems as though he’s hardly aged in the last 20 years.
Although perhaps his the picture quality might date the footage just a little (okay a lot) you wouldn’t be mad to think the show could have been filmed recently.

Even the way he wears his shirts over a white t-shirt is still the same, the only real difference is that his hair is just a little tidier now.
In the time since the Naked Chef first aired in 2000 Jamie has made 47 other TV specials and series, had five children, and written 29 books.
You can catch his latest programme Jamie Oliver: Together, at 8pm tonight (October 4) on Channel 4.
