In our life, at some point in time, we decide to lose our body weight, to look and feel healthy. But, it’s always not possible to avoid tempting sugary drinks, junk foods, etc, which is the main cause Why we gain weight.

At one point or in time, we’ll fail to follow a balanced diet. So, let’s have a look at the foods that need to be avoided to live a healthy life and also to lose weight.

Fried Items and white flour:

Fried items such as French fries, potato chips, samosa, and other junk foods which include white maida aren’t good for health. Most of the foods made out of white flour and maida tastes good that you can’t hold back yourself from eating them.

This is because these foods are added with refined sugars and the foods which include this white flour as an essential ingredient are the primary foods to avoid losing weight as they don’t contain the essential fibers and nutrients and only contain processed sugars to make them taste much delicious. Foods such as white bread, baked items, burgers, and pizzas are the main foods to avoid losing weight.

Sugary beverages:

Many sugary beverages and soft drinks such as maaza, Miranda, slice, Pepsi, coca-cola, sodas, and fruit juices. Consuming these beverages only adds calories but doesn’t make us feel full.

Even though fruit juices that are made at home could provide vitamins and minerals, the added sugar content does however adds to the calories. So, it’s better to consume a whole fruit which gives the fiber and makes us feel full.

Ice creams:

Icecreams are extremely delicious and sweet, but not a healthy option. It’s the quickest way to gain calories because just 100 grams of ice cream contains 207 calories.

But it’s not at all possible to avoid it completely other than the people who don’t like ice cream, so consider serving yourself a small portion of ice cream and put it away so that you won’t end up getting so much tempted or overeat it, which leads to weight gain.

Alcoholic drinks:

Alcoholic beverages such as wine, vodka, and especially beer make you fat as it’s known for their high-calorie content.

Alcohol contains more calories than carbs and protein. Hence, it’s advisable to have it in moderation or cut it all together for weight loss and good health.

Read your food label:

Whenever you go to stores, before buying any food products it’s always a good practice to read your food label. Having a habit of reading the food label helps you to understand better each minute detail of the content in it.

As some foods may contain more flavoring agents, processed foods, high sugar content, more carbs, etc. So, reading it helps you to have a better idea of what food you consume in your daily life and helps to decide whether it’s good or bad for your health.

Other foods such as candies, junk, and processed foods, high sugar content foods and beverages such as tea, coffee, bread, baked items, pizza, burgers, processed meats aren’t good for health.

But you can ask then what can I eat to survive?! :P The answer is there are many more healthy alternatives to consider.

If your goal is to lose weight, then the option is to eat everything in moderation and that too occasionally. Even the above-mentioned items could be healthier if it’s cooked at home because homemade foods are always a better choice and healthier!!
