GETTING STUFF DONE
You have probably heard the phrase ‘ we all have the same 24 hours in the day’. I have definitely said this. But we are also also different in what we want from life and what our priorities and obligations are.
Another reason we differ in what we can achieve in one day is our varying ability to actually get stuff done- productivity in other words.
There is a tonne of information out there about how you can be more productive day to day, and gurus as far as the eye can see. This week I am going to look at different ways to get more stuff done. The things I find useful.
One of the lessons I have learned in my adult life is that my brain appreciates logic and efficiency. Its the way I am wired. So I have evolved my own ways, based on things I have read about and then tried, to try and get the most out of each day. I will post about some of these this week.
Am I always successful at this? Absolutely no. But I am always willing to learn when it hasn’t worked out how I expected.
Another important caveat to this is that you can’t always be ‘doing stuff’. Sometimes the reason why you aren’t feeling or being all that productive is that your brain needs a break. Try to build some self awareness of this as you work towards becoming more productive.
