Make Money on Quora Without Writing
In fact, you can make money in the Quora partnership program, simply by requesting answers to questions that have already been asked.
Depending on the status of your account, you can request answers from 50–2000 users a day. The longer your account is open and active, and the more people that respond to your request for answers, will lead to an increase in the number of requests you are allotted in 24 hours.
You can request up to 25 answers per question, per day. (While also staying within your limit of total requests in a day.)
How to Request Answers for Quora Questions
Once you’re a member of the Quora Partnership program, you can request answers to other people’s questions.
- Find the question that you want to request answers for.
- Click ‘Request’, under the question title.
- Click the ‘+’ icon next to any of the suggested users
- That’s it. You’ve requested an answer for the question.
- Each question has a limit of 25 answer requests per user, go ahead and use them all.
Know that you know how to request answers, let’s optimize a bit, shall we?
- Figure out the best topic for the question
- Request answers from spaces
- Focus on requesting answers from user’s who have a large number of answers in the space or topic.
- Don’t just use the suggested Quora Users
- Make sure the requested user is active.
Figure out the best topic for the question.
It may seem like the topics that are associated with the question are the best topics to request answers from, but frequently questions are associated with niche topics and over arching (vague) topics. Focus on the niche topics.
If the question is about Thai cuisine, then ‘Food’ may be a category. However, you’re more likely to find people with the appropriate knowledge if you niche down the subject more. Requesting answers from suggest users for ‘Food and Cuisine of Thailand’ is more likely to give you access to answers from user’s who are more likely to be passionate about the topic.
Request Answers from Spaces (especially for your own questions)
You can request answers from users, or from spaces on Quora. This can increase the audience, and make it more likely that high quality answers will appear organically.
Quora spaces are similar to Facebook groups, or a subreddit. The space is dedicated to a topic, and the questions, answers, and discussions in that space should all be related to the overarching subject.
If a question is accepted into a space, then it will be more likely to be shown to users who follow the space, which will increase the views on the question.
Focus on requesting answers from user’s who have a large number of answers in the space or topic.
If they’ve already answered 200 questions about broth, they’re more likely to answer this one. I look for more than 20 answers in the space, and focus the bulk of my requests to those users.
If the topic is not that active, then you may not have super users with 100s of answers. That’s ok, focus on the users with the most answers first. Then if you have left over requests, use those on the user’s without as many answers.
Don’t just use the suggested Quora Users
Quora will suggest users automatically. Sometimes, these suggestions are great, but other times it’s not quote what you need.
When that happens, use the search bar to search for keywords from the people that you’d like to answer the question.
For leagal questions, searching ‘Lawyer’ will show users who use the term to describe themselves. You can also search the questions main keyword.
If you had a broth related question, then searching for ‘broth’ shows users who own broth companies. They may be very willing to answer your question, especially if it means they can leave a backlink to their company.
Make sure the requested user is active.
If they haven’t answered a question in six months, it’s not super likely that they’ll answer this one. So make sure the user’s that you request answers from are active users.
Check their profile for any activity in the last month:
- When’s the last time they answered a question?
- When’s the last time they asked a question?
- Do they regularly answer Quora questions, or did they just answer a lot of questions a long time ago?
