To start blogging for free, best website is none other than google. Yes, Google has one service called Blogger. If you have a gmail account then you can simply login to your gmail account in the browser and visit to blogger.com in another tab. You will get the dashboard where you will be asked to select your blog title and blog address name.
Here please note that, as it is free domain, you will not get .com/.net rather you will get an extension of blogspot.com. So your site title will be yourblogname.blogspot.com but initially this is okay and you can earn money with this as well.
