A DIY fanatic has revealed the simple way to get more storage in your bathroom – without taking up extra space.
The Edinburgh man has built his own bath panel complete with secret doors for storage.
And he’s shared a step-by-step guide for followers to make their own on his TikTok account – @bottletester.
Posting a video, he explained he created the panel to “store stuff under the bath”.
In the short clip, he said: “This bath side has three secret doors for storage and access to the plumbing.
“I made it from 18mm birch ply. Drawing out the doors and cutting them out with a multi-tool and then a jigsaw

“I used cabinet hinges on blocks to attach the doors and then hid the gaps using trim attached to the doors with an air nailer.
“Then I painted it in this green colour, it’s called gritty from B&Q
“And that’s it done.”
social media users are loving the space-saving hack.
One gushed: “Brilliant idea.”
Another wrote: “Looks great.”
Meanwhile, a third said: “Whoop. Fantastic job.”
And the Scots handyman isn’t just fixing up his existing home – he’s building a micro house in his own back garden for just £25,000.
We told earlier how he’s taking on the huge job by himself despite having no official building training.
The self-confessed “First Time DIY Builder” has been sharing his journey and tips so far with his 10,000 followers on TikTok – @microhouseedinburgh.
