A TIKTOKER shared his favorite gardening hacks to help plants grow and reduce waste.
Armen Adamjan, known by his username @creative_explained showed off multiple hacks related to gardening.
For example, if you want to regrow your lettuce for free, Adamjan suggests chopping the bottom off and placing it in a glass of water.
This will help the plant regrow.
The nearly 50-second clip features multiple hacks that Adamjan reveals in quick succession, using fast-paced editing to visualize them.
Another hack he suggests is filling up eggshells with soils to plant seeds.

“When they’re big enough, just grab them, gently crush them and plant them directly into the soil,” he said.
Eggs can also be used in another hack, according to Adamjan.
“When you’re done boiling eggs, save the water it’s filled with nutrients!” he said.
“Let the water cool off and then water your plants.”
To get even spacing when planting seedlings, Adamjan says to use a muffin tin.
He then shows himself pressing the bottom of a muffin tin into the soil in his garden. The indents provide evenly spaced areas to plant seedlings.
If you’re worried about animals disrupting your plants, Adamjan says plastic knives and forks can be used to build a fence around your plants.
A teaspoon of baking soda on the soil of your plants could help your tomatoes taste sweeter once they’re harvested.
However, sprinkling cinnamon on the soil can prevent mold and fungi.
The last hack Adamjan offers is using lemons as plant pots as they’re natural and won’t break the bank if you already have them lying around.
