“I’m still pinching myself at the thought of reaching my weight-loss goal, and earlier than planned.”
TV personality and Australian entrepreneur Jules Robinson has just been announced as Jenny Craig’s newest ambassador, after losing 20 kilograms in five months.
The first person in Australia and New Zealand to undertake the new ‘Rapid Results Max’ program, Robinson says her reason for the weight loss was to get ‘body strong’ and achieve her health goals ahead of her 40th birthday.

“I was ten months postpartum in August and felt ready to make a commitment to regain control of my health, so I approached Jenny Craig and never looked back.”

We all fell in love with Jules during her own love story, with Cam Merchant on Married At First Sight. The couple went from strength to strength, getting engaged on the final episode and then married (this time properly) in November 2019. Just under a year later, the couple had their first child, Oliver Chase, who was born in September 2020.
Jules recently revealed in an interview with WHO that she gained 20 kilograms during her pregnancy, and then another 20 in the first eight months of his life – living with a newborn baby and through the pandemic-induced lockdowns.
“I was nearly 100kg,” the 39 year-old told WHO. “In the past 18 months I’ve been a size 10, a 12 and up to an 18. I’m not saying that’s bad, but I felt unfit, tired and because I want to get pregnant again, I felt that I needed to make some changes for my wellbeing.”
Robinson is also the founder of shapewear brand FIGUR and has become a poster-girl for body positivity on Instagram.
“I’ve always felt great and rocked every outfit, no matter what size I am. But I’m also a woman whose bedroom looked like a tornado hit it because I couldn’t wear what I wanted to wear,” she added in the interview.
“I turn 40 in March, so I want to have a big fun party for that milestone and then we’ll get busy trying! I want to go into my next pregnancy feeling as fit, healthy and strong as I can.”
Jules credits her success to weekly coaching sessions with a personal coach and the convenience of having her meals delivered on her doorstep, which is majorly helpful to a busy mum.
The program leverages the powerful science of circadian rhythm and intermittent fasting (14:10), eating smart during the day and taking a break at night, which suited Jules’ busy schedule, allowing her to keep her daily routine focused around her son Oliver.

The average weight loss for members following Rapid Results Max based on a Jenny Craig study was 6kgs in the first four weeks, with Jules losing 6.6kg in her first four weeks.
It wasn’t all smooth sailing for Robinson, though, who was tasked with continuing her journey during the strictest of NSW COVID-19 lockdowns, when gyms were closed. However, she was resilient.
“During lockdown it was very easy to stay on track, I had my weekly food delivered and accountability calls with my coach over the phone, so there was no reason not to succeed,” she says.
“Just do it,” she says. “I struggled in the past to put my health first, but once you start prioritising your own wellbeing, you quickly realise just how important it really is. It doesn’t matter about the previous attempts, how old you are, or your fear of failure. Believe in the journey and surround yourself with a routine that works around you. If I can do it and be in the best shape of my life at 40, so can you.”
