Memphis Smith has had a remarkable weight loss transformation since fans last saw her on 90 Day Fiancé with Hamza Moknii. The 34-year-old was a single mom of two when she began dating Hamza, a younger, Tunisian man she had met on an international dating site. Even though Memphis married Hamza, 26, on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, she is back to being a single mom again. Memphis recently confirmed her split with Hamza through her Instagram. Hamza and Memphis had welcomed a baby daughter following their wedding.
There were rumors about Memphis and Hamza having a baby due even before fans saw her take a pregnancy test on the show. The possibility of Hamza and Memphis staying together or even getting married was so low that a baby seemed out of the picture. However, Memphis, who had trust issues and a communication gap with Hamza, became his bride within two weeks of meeting him in person in Tunisia. A week later, Memphis found herself feeling nauseous before Memphis revealed her pregnancy to Hamza on their honeymoon.
While Memphis had to hurry back to Michigan after the happy announcement, Hamza was able to join her in the U.S. five weeks their baby’s birth. Unfortunately, Hamza is no longer staying with Memphis or her kids and has moved to Chicago. Memphis, who has deleted all of Hamza’s photos from her Instagram, has also gone on a social media hiatus. However, Memphis’ IG page has several photos that reveal her dramatic postpartum weight loss that fans appreciate.
Memphis Reveals Baby Bump In Pregnancy Photos
Fans didn’t get to see Memphis with a pregnant belly on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. It’s expected that Memphis will continue her 90 Day Fiancé journey on a different spin-off even though she thinks the show is the devil’s work. Regardless, Memphis is not able to share photos of her baby with Hamza or reveal her name possibly because they might have a baby special pending. However, Memphis did post several pictures from her pregnancy photo shoot on Instagram. Dressed like a goddess, and perhaps inspired by Beyoncé, Memphis cradling her bump in the pictures made fans say “aww.”
Memphis Talks About Body Positivity
Memphis used the post to talk about how magical a woman’s body is and how one should not get insecure and spend time comparing their body with others. Memphis feels that too many women do not appreciate the gift of being able to carry a child. “We need to start normalizing our differences! That is what makes us unique!” said 90 Day Fiancé star Memphis. The reality celeb recommended that people learn to support each other no matter what anyone has to say about what women’s bodies go through before and after pregnancy. “I guarantee we can decrease some of these negative expectations the world puts on us!” wrote Memphis, a nurse practitioner.
Memphis Reveals Weight Loss In Before & After Photos
Memphis gave a fair warning to 90 Day Fiancé fans about how a weight-loss journey is individualized and unique to each person when she shared photos of herself before and after her transformation. According to Memphis, who’s 4’9″ tall, her original weight was 120 pounds. When she delivered her and Hamza’s baby, Memphis weighed 160 pounds. As of now, Memphis weighs 113 pounds. While Memphis didn’t give away her weight-loss secrets, she wrote there are “a lot of factors” that play into weight loss in general. “Women tend to have a different complexity than men when it comes to weight loss,” she explained. She shared that each person has “different circumstances,” which could make it easier or harder for them to drop weight.
