Northumbria Police probe after tools stolen from Sunderland back garden

Two burglars broke into a back garden in Sunderland and made off with a number of tools.

The burglary happened at 9am in the Hollycarrside area of Sunderland, in which tools were stolen from the garden.

Two men entered the victim’s garden and made off with a number of tools shortly afterwards.

Now, Northumbria Police have launched an investigation, and are appealing for witnesses to come forward should they have information.

A Northumbria Police spokesperson said: “An investigation has been launched following a report of a burglary at an address in the Linskell area of Sunderland at about 9am yesterday (Tuesday).

“It was reported that two men had entered the victim’s garden and stole a number of tools.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact police via the ‘Tell Us Something’ page of our website or by calling 101 quoting crime number 130875F/21.”
