The owners of land at the former Bessborough mother and baby home say they are considering suing Ordnance Survey Ireland over evidence the state agency gave to An Bord Pleanala when their application to build 179 apartments was refused.
Richard A Pratt, a Cork businessman, said Ordnance Survey Ireland ( OSI) “won’t get away with this”.
He said: “We’ve had seven independent experts and they’ve all said this is a joke. We’re not the big, bad developer that couldn’t give a damn about people.”
In May last year An Bord Pleanala (ABP) rejected the application made by MWB Two under the fast-track process for strategic housing development to build apartment towers on a 3.7 acre part of the estate in the city in Cork. The
