How did you all fare in yesterday’s nasty blizzard? Did you all at least Prepare as well as possible for it.? It was a real winner here. I am pretty sure that our city got around eleven inches, which is not all that horrific, but it still drove people plum loco. Unfortunately the temperature has also hovered at around eleven degrees, and the wind has been around eleven miles per hour. I was a mere youngster in 1978, a year out of high school. It was the year I turned nineteen. People always talk about the big blizzard that year. Somehow we all got through it so we can handle this one.
For the information of all me fellow Beatlemaniacs, today is the fifty third anniversary of the Fabs’ legendary Apple rooftop concert.. I was only nine years old. Although I am nowhere near old enough to remember that era, I have always been so obsessed with it especially because of the Beatles. Beatle imagery specifically, and 1960’s imagery in general, have always so significantly shaped me throughout me lifetime. It is so good to see that their music has lived on. Unfortunately I never got a chance to see them together. I went to a Ringo Starr concert, though, in the summer of 2019. It was such a splendid time for all.
