A new bus route between the Swindon town centre and Tadpole Garden Village will start running next week.
Stagecoach is introducing a new bus route from Monday, September 5.
This will replace their previous Service 9 and offer an alternative to residents previously served by Swindon Bus Company’s Service 16.
The route will run from Swindon Town Centre via the Great Western Outlet, Cheney Manor Industrial Estate, Woodhall, Haydon Wick, Orbital Retail Park and Abbey Meads before continuing to St Andrews Ridge and Tadpole Garden Village.
The route will run every 20 minutes on Mondays to Saturdays.
Stagecoach also announced that they will no longer be running via Gorse Hill or Cricklade Road.
“As alternatives, our Service 10 will continue to serve Gorse Hill and our Service 10 and 51 for Cricklade Road.,” they said.
The timetable for the new number 4 bus between the Swindon town centre and Tadpole Garden Village can be found online here.
Changes will also be made to two other services.
Service 9 will be divided into two routes. Service 9 from Swindon Town Centre to Wroughton and the new service 4 from Swindon Town Centre to Tadpole Garden Village.
Service 51 has also been retimed to improve punctuality.
A new fast 51X journey will also be introduced to provide a direct link for students at Cirencester College.
