Have you ever eaten a meal and after you’re finished you just wish there was more?
Like it tasted so good that you just wished there was more of it?
Maybe there actually is more of it so you go and get a second or third serving?
I love food that’s a 10/10.
But this is something you want to avoid when dieting.
You see if your food tastes like a 10/10 all the time you’re going to have the cravings of wanting more and more.
This is Why I’m not a big fan of adding biscoff and sugar free syrup and 100’s and thousands and every other damn little treat you can fit into your diet because it can trigger urges to want to eat more!
Instead what you should be aiming for is to make your food taste about a 7/10.
A 7/10 meal is good, it’s tasty, it hits the spot but it doesn’t leave you craving more.
Like it does the job, ticks the boxes, but doesn’t have you tapping your fingers or licking the bowl clean and asking “should I have another serving”.
This little trick will help you reduce the urge to want to over eat after the meal but still be enjoyable enough that you feel satisfied with your choice.
So maybe cut back on adding in all the sweet treats and use a little bit less in your meals.
Remember when you can reduce the urge of temptation you have less of a chance of giving in!
Hope that helps.
