How going old school is helping me finally stick to my goals.
I write things down. Thoughts and feelings in a journal. Ideas in a file titled, “Ideas.” Stuff I need to do, organized into lists, on scraps of paper. Goals and ambitions in a notebook.
A couple of months ago, I started writing a daily task list in the reminder app on my phone. It was meant to be part to-do list, part action plan for accomplishing some of those aforementioned goals. The reminder function was meant to prompt me into action — I’m the sort who can’t leave a little red notification dot uncleared…
