A motorist has been arrested for drink-driving after “thinking it was a wise idea” to drive home after imbibing.
South Wales Police Bridgend tweeted at 5.42am today (Saturday) that the female driver tested positive at the roadside.
It said: ” #PorthcawlNPT female arrested tonight for drink-driving after blowing 99 at the roadside.
“The female had been drinking in Cardiff & Bridgend before thinking it was a wise idea to drive home. Another dangerous road user removed without anyone being harmed #FatalFive.”
