A woman has opened up about her recent weight loss journey after shedding 10st.
Sarah Cooper, 39, struggled with body image and health issue for years before slimming from 21st 3lbs to 11st 4.5lbs.
Her dramatic transformation is now the reason Why she’s one of UK and Ireland’s most successful female slimmers.
She turned to Slimming World in a bid to shift weight before scooping a place in the final of the Woman of the Year award.
Speaking to Cheshire Live, Sarah said: “Before I found Slimming World, losing weight just felt impossible.
“I had resigned myself to being the size I was forever because I had so much weight to lose.
“I felt self-conscious all the time and would get out of breath doing the most simple jobs.”

Sarah decided to change her eating habits and soon fell in love with exercise.
She added: “The best thing is that I’ve formed new habits that will stick with me for life.
“Like filling my plate with plenty of veg and shopping and cooking completely differently.
“As the weight came off I started to feel more energetic and decided to try something new.”
She has since taken up dance classes where she attends three times a week, and she joined a cricket team too.
Sarah has not given up any of her favourite meals to lose weight either.
The slimmer revealed: “I’ve now found a new way of eating that fit easily around my life.”
Nicola Chiappa runs the Grappenhall group that Sarah attends as she added: “Having her in our group is wonderful.”
