LIVELY Roger is looking for a new home after his owner passed away.
The 10-year-old Labrador Cross has sadly found himself back at Dogs Trust Merseyside after his devoted owner passed away.
Although he may be getting on in years, nobody has told Roger and he still enjoys long walks and is very playful.
He loves being around other dogs and loves to play with them, however lively they are!
He would like a quieter home but he can live with children aged 14 and over who will respect his space as although he’s very friendly, now he’s an Older Age Pooch (OAP) he doesn’t like to be over handled.
Georgina Lowery, Dogs Trust Merseyside manager, says: “It’s so sad to see Roger back with us, particularly given the circumstances as he was a much-loved dog.
“We really hope he won’t be with us too long, although he’s an absolute joy to be around and will make a wonderful four-legged friend for his new forever family.”
Roger isn’t used to being left home alone and would like to be the only dog in the home, with lots of doggie friends to meet up with when he’s out and about!
He will need a secure garden with high fences as this cheeky chappy can jump five feet high when the mood takes him!
If you think you could give Roger the forever home he deserves, please go to www.dogstrust.org.uk/rehoming to start the virtual adoption process.
