Health Tips From Abillon

Exercise can sometimes be difficult to add to your schedule, especially when you are busy with work, family, & other responsibilities. Some of the most common excuses that people use when they want to exercise are “I’m too busy with work” & “I don’t get the time to exercise”.

This is true for many people as they have to work to put food on the table for their kids and families & look after their children. Some people don’t have children or families, but their jobs & other responsibilities require a lot of their attention.

Thus, people don’t know how they could fit exercise into their busy schedules. There are plenty of workout options out there that can fit in your schedule even during the week when you have a lot going on.

What You Need To Understand

Some people, think you need to go to the gym & spend 45 to 2 hours there. That is not necessary, especially for someone who is always very busy every day. What all people really need is REGULAR CONSISTENT EXERCISE. For example, that could easily be riding your bicycle on Wednesday & Friday around your neighborhood for 20 minutes.

There are two types of exercises. Those that require you work out for 45 minutes or more & those that require no more than 30 minutes of your time. The latter are usually intense. People who are very busy, I recommend you focus on workouts that take no more than 30 minutes to complete.

How to Fit Exercises Your Busy Schedule

Choose exercises that don’t take more than 30 minutes of your time. Perform in moments when you have time to spare. For Example, when you wake up, when you arrive home from work, or just before dinner.

Example One: Your Bicycle

Pick two or three days that you are most comfortable with. E.g., Monday & Wednesday or Friday & Sunday. I prefer to ride my bike on Saturday & Sunday.

You can take your bicycle & ride it on your preferred days around your neighborhood for at least 20 minutes.

Example Two: Push Up and Squats

For example, those doing squats or pushups for the first time might find themselves only doing 10–20 reps. These can be completed quickly in about 10–12 minutes. So, the more reps you do, the more minutes you might need.

Pick two days that you are most comfortable with.

For Example, On Tuesday, do squats which will work on your lower body/legs. On Wednesday, do pushups, which will work on your upper body.

Every week, try to increase your reps (the number of pushups/squats you perform) by adding 5 to 10 more reps.

And if you have time in the week, you could decide to ride the bicycle for 20 minutes in your neighborhood.

Example Three: Using A Weighted Backpack

Get Yourself a weighted backpack. The weighted backpack must not be too heavy for you. It must be weighted to the point that it physically challenges you when walking.

You can do this for 20 minutes. When you become stronger if it is no longer physically challenging for you. If you wish, you may increase the weight a little.

Pick two or three days that you are most comfortable with. Skip a day after completing the first day. For example, if you chose Monday, skip Tuesday and do it again on Wednesday or any other day if you are too busy on that Wednesday.
